About Rick's Balls
Rick's Balls was born in 2021 with one simple mission: create a snack I felt great about feeding my family!
As someone who's always been obsessed with peanut butter, I wanted more than just another protein snack. My family had different dietary needs, my oldest son was playing travel hockey, and we seemed to spend half our weekends at gas stations grabbing snacks between games. Not only were they expensive, but they were often packed with ingredients I didn't want my family eating. My youngest son was also an incredibly picky eater, so I wanted to create one snack that everyone could enjoy — one made with ingredients I trusted and a taste that kept everyone coming back for more!
So, I got to work!
After countless batches, recipe tweaks, and plenty of family taste tests, Rick's Balls was born. My goal was simple: create a protein-packed snack made with high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients that fit into almost any lifestyle. Whether you're looking for a healthier snack, fueling a workout, packing lunches, or just need something delicious on the go, I wanted to create something that tasted incredible without compromising on quality.
When I started sharing them with friends and family, I quickly realized I was onto something. The feedback was overwhelming, and before long, people were asking where they could buy them. What started as a homemade recipe quickly turned into a growing business.
Today, I'm incredibly proud to say Rick's Balls can be found in 11 café locations across New England, with more on the way! And now, for the first time, we're excited to offer nationwide shipping, making it easier than ever to enjoy Rick's Balls wherever you call home!

My vision has always been bigger than creating another protein snack. I want Rick's Balls to become the go-to snack for busy families, athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a delicious, high-quality snack they can feel good about eating.

Every batch is rolled by hand in our commercial kitchen with clean, whole-food ingredients — organic oats, all-natural peanut butter, organic chocolate chips, organic agave, and a finish of sea salt. Organic, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.
